Details of these are given on their respective pages, links to which are given below. The Presidential Weekend also has its own page, on which full details will be made available.

Study tour by ordinary service bus around the north and north west suburbs of London.

The extent of the tour can be adjusted to suit the wishes of those participating. Edgware and Harrow are intended to be on the agenda. We hope for weather as good as it was for a similar tour around East London at the same time last year.

It will include travelling along a road that only gained a bus service for the first time last November.

Meet at the Wells Terrace terminus of Route 210 at Finsbury Park Station at 10.00.

Talk by Philip Kirk - "Buses and Politics - a good mix?"

We are delighted to welcome back another key bus industry figure.  Philip Kirk is the Managing Director of the Oxford Bus Company and was the 2009 President of the Omnibus Society.

North Western and Yorkshire Saturday 13 March 2010 Meet at the Museum at 1030 for a guided tour of the Museum, followed by a run out on a bus from the collection.
After a lunch break where memebrs can seek refreshments in the nearby town centre, the Branch AGM will take place at the Museum from 1345hrs, followed by a presentation given by John Owen on "Ticket machines through the ages". This hands on presentation will cover Punch Types, Mechanical Crossovers, Early Self Printers, Fifties - Seventies Mechanicals, Ist Generation Electronicals and Aspects of Electrickery. Plenty of Details, The Prospects of Peculation (Use & Abuse) etc. There will be examples of all types drawn from the museum collection of over 1047 machines, and associated documentation.

With such a wide geographic spread, meetings are not easy to arrange – although we are always open to suggestions!  We normally have one centrally in Birmingham in April (the AGM) that features a speaker or presentation.  It is also customary to hold a Sunday evening meeting during the course of the Presidential Weekend, open to all members of the Society and their guests.

Afternoon tour Renfrewshire & West Dunbartonshire and evening meeting, Glasgow. Afternoon Tour - Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire
Departing from Cowcaddens Road, Glasgow on the north side of Buchanan Bus Station at 11:00.   Visits are proposed to the depots of McGills at Barrhead, Arriva Scotland West at Johnstone and Inchinnan, First Glasgow at Scotstoun and West Coast/Glasgow Citybus at South Street Glasgow.    There will be a stop at Paisley Town Centre at lunchtime and a stop at Dumbarton Town Centre during the afternoon.    The tour will finish around 16:15
 
Evening Meeting
 
This will be held in at 18:00 in room 10 at Partick Burgh Hall, Burgh Hall Street Glasgow.  There will be a slide show by Branch member John Sinclair. with the subject of Scottish Highland and Islands.
South Wales and West Saturday 20th March 2010 Branch AGM, followed after a lunch break by a presentation from Barry le Jeune, Omnibus Society Chairman, entitled ‘The Chairman recollects’. Barry plans to reminisce partly about his 37 years with London Transport and partly about his 25 years as Chairman of the OS, with a particular focus on some past Presidential Weekends.
