As usual photographs will be shown in batches of 20.

Afternoon Tour - Renfrewshire

Visits are proposed to the depot of Glasgow Citybus/West Coast Motors at South Street Glasgow, and the Inchinnan and Johnstone depots of Arriva Scotland West. There will also be a short stop at Clydebank Bus Station and a stop of approximately thirty minutes at Paisley Town Centre. Hi viz vests will be required for the visits. The tour will finish around 16:00.

Departing from Cowcaddens Road Glasgow on the north side of Buchanan Bus Station at 12:00 noon.

Evening Meeting - Glasgow

Branch member Donald Booth, who has been Area Manager at Cowal and Bute since West Coast Motors took over the operations in April 2004, will give a talk about his experiences in that job. Donald will illustrate his talk with slides.

The meeting will be held in the Mid Hall at Woodside Halls, Glenfarg Street Glasgow at 18:00.

Afternoon Tour - East Lothian . Departing from Waterloo Place Edinburgh at 12noon. Visits are proposed to the premises of Don Prentice at Haddington, the preserved vehicle site at Gifford and the First Edinburgh depot at Dalkeith. There will also be a stop at Haddington High Street. The tour will finish in Edinburgh around 16:00

Lanarkshire Tour Departing from Cowcaddens Road Glasgow at 11:15. Visits are proposed to the premises of JJ Travel at Coatbridge, Jay Coaches at Airdrie, Golden Eagle at Salsburgh Coakley at Motherwell, Stuarts at Carluke, Irvines at Law, Hutchisons at Overtown Whitelaws at Stonehouse, Hendersons at Hamilton and also the new Blantyre depot of First Glasgow. There will be a lunch stop of approximately forty-five minutes at Motherwell Town Centre and the tour will finish at around 18:00.

Aberdeen Tour Departing from Leonard Street, Perth outside the Bus Station at 1045 and Dundee Bus Station at 1125. There will be visits to the Stagecoach Bluebird depots at Stonehaven and Aberdeen and the First Aberdeen depot at King Street, Aberdeen. There will be a stop of approximately two hours at Aberdeen City Centre at lunchtime and First Aberdeen are arranging for participants to have a short trip on one of the preserved Aberdeen Corporation vehicles. Return to Dundee should be around 1820 and Perth around 1900.

Vintage Vehicle Tour A vehicle from the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum will depart from Bruce Street, Dunfermline outside Thomsons World of Furniture at 1500. It is proposed to travel to Anstruther where there will be a stop of approximately one hour. The outward journey will be along the coast and the return journey will be by the inland route. The tour will finish around 2000

Borders and Northumberland Tour The coach will depart from Waterloo Place, Edinburgh at 0900. Visits are proposed to the premises of Perrymans at Berwick upon Tweed, Travelsure at Belford, Snaiths at Otterburn and Munros of Jedburgh. There will be a stop of over an hour at Alnwick Town Centre at lunchtime. This will allow time for participants to travel on one of the vintage vehicles of Dreadnought Coaches on the Alnwick sightseeing tour if they wish. There will also be short stops at the Town Centres of Berwick upon Tweed and Galashiels. The tour will finish around 1910.

Dumfries Tour The coach will depart from Cowcaddens Road, Glasgow on the north side of Buchanan Bus Station at 0900. Visits are proposed to Stagecoach Western depots at Cumnock and Dumfries and the premises of Liddells at Auchinleck and MacEwans at Dumfries. It is also hoped to arrange to see some of the vehicles operated by Dumfries and Galloway Council. There will be a stop of approximately one hour at Dumfries Town Centre at lunchtime and a stop at Carlisle City Centre during the afternoon. The tour will finish around 1900.

Fife Tour Departing from Waterloo Place Edinburgh at 10:30 and visiting the five depots of Stagecoach Fife, it is also proposed to visit the premises of Rennies of Dunfermline, Moffat & Williamson at St Fort and Glenrothes and Hamish Gordon at Leslie.
There will be a stop of approximately twenty minutes in Kirkcaldy Town Centre at lunchtime.
The tour will finish around 18:30.

Afternoon Tour, Glasgow Departing from Cowcaddens Road Glasgow outside Buchanan Bus Station at 12:00.
Branch member Alan Millar is devising a historic tour of the city and he will give a commentary.
Visits will be made to some of the outer termini once served by Glasgow Corporation Transport and to mark the fortieth anniversary of the withdrawal of the trolleybuses, we will trace one of the longer routes.
It is propsed to end the tour with a depot visit and First Glasgow have been approached regarding a visit to their Parkhead depot.
The tour will finish around 16:00

Evening Meeting, Glasgow Commencing at 18:00 in the Mid Hall of the Woodside Halls, Glenfarg Street Glasgow,
Brian Skillen will give a talk on historic transport experiences in Glasgow.
Brian was a member of the Branch until he moved to Wales.
He is now a member of staff at the Mitchell Library, Glasgow and his main interest is social history

Evening Meeting A meeting with the subject of members' short talks will be held at the same location at 18:00
The talks can be on any matter relating to the bus industry.
It is suggested that the topic should be fairly specific and that if slides are used they should not exceed 25.
If any member wishes to use the digital projector for their talk it would be helpful if they would let the Branch Secretary Ian Allan know by Saturday 1 December 2007.
It would also be helpful if members would let Ian know if they are going to give a talk.

Shaded events have already occurred. Further details will be published, when available. Members will receive details in the bi-monthly Branch Newsletter
