Departing from Cowcaddens Road on the north side of Buchanan Bus Station at
12.00 Visits are proposed to the premises of Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust at Bridgeton, the First Glasgow depots at Larkfield and Cumbernauld together with the Stagecoach Glasgow depot at Blochairn. There will also be a stop at Coatbridge Town Centre. The tour will finish around 16.15 |

There will be a stop of approximately one hour at Stirling Bus Station at lunchtime together with short stops at Alloa Town Centre and the Falkirk Wheel. The tour will finish around 16.30. |

3 June 2006 - | Kintyre Tour | Departure from Cowcaddens Road, Glasgow on the north side of Buchanan Bus Station at 09:00. Visits are proposed to the depots of West Coast Motors at Campbeltown and Ardrishaig. There will be a short stop at Inveraray on the outward journey, a stop of approximately one hour at lunchtime in Campbeltown and also a short stop at Lochgilphead on the return journey. Arrival in Glasgow will be at around 19:30. |

The outward journey will be via Kilsyth and Stirling and the return journey via Balfron where there will be a visit to the First Edinburgh depot. Return to Glasgow will be at around 20:00 |

Visits are proposed to the Stagecoach North West depots at Carlisle and Workington and also to the premises of Messenger Coaches at Aspatria. There will be a short stop at Moffat on the journey south, a stop of approximately one at lunchtime in Carlisle and a short stop at Keswick during the afternoon. Return to Abington should be at around 19:30 and to Glasgow around 20:30 |

Visits are proposed to the premises of Marbill at Beith, Shuttlebuses at Kilwinning, Docherty at Irvine, Dodds at Ayr, Ayrways at Ayr and Keenans at Coalhall, also to the Stagecoach Western depots at Ayr and Kilmarnock. There will be a lunchtime stop of approximately thirty minutes at Irvine Town Centre. Return to Glasgow will be at around 18:30. |

Visits are proposed to the Strathtay depots at Arbroath, Montrose and Forfar and the premises of Travel Dundee, Wisharts at Frockheim, JP Mini Coaches at Forfar and Meffans at Kirriemuir. There will be no lunch stop and the tour vehicle will return to Dundee around 17:30, when there will be a visit to the Strathtay depot there. |

Gavin Booth, Branch Chairman is devising an historic tour of the city and will give a commentary. The last trams ran in Edinburgh in November 1956 and the emphasis will be on the tram system. It is proposed that the tour will finish with a visit to the Marine depot of Lothian Buses and the tour vehicle should return to Waterloo Place around 16:00. |

Hi Viz Vests
Participants are again reminded that they should have these available for wearing on all tours. As before, a small supply of these vests will be available for use when required and they may be purchased at £4.00 each.
