Afternoon Tour - Dunbartonshire
Visits proposed to Allander Coaches at Milngavie, McColls at Balloch and the First Glasgow depot at Dumbarton. Also with stops at Dumbarton Town Centre and Clydebank Bus Station.
Departing from Cowcaddens Road Glasgow (outside Buchanan Bus Station) at 1200.
Tour expected to return to Buchanan Bus Station by 1615.

Afternoon Tour of East Lothian with proposed visits to Dalkeith depot of First Edinburgh, Marine depot of Lothian Buses and the premises of Eves at Dunbar and of Prentice at Haddington. There will also be a short stop at Haddington High Street. The tour will finish at around 1620. Departing from Waterloo Place, Edinburgh at 1200

Lanarkshire Tour, Visits are proposed to the premises of Golden Eagle at Salsburgh, Coakley at Motherwell, McKindless at Wishaw, Stuarts at Carluke, Irvines at Law, Hutchisons at Overtown, Whitelaws at Stonehouse, Parks at Hamilton together with the Motherwell depot of First Glasgow. There will be a lunch stop of approximately forty-five minutes at Motherwell Town Centre. The tour will finish around 1800. Departing from Cowcaddens Road Glasgow, outside Buchanan Bus Station at 1115.

Cowal and Bute Tour
a run to Toward and back, followed by a visit to the premises of West Coast Motors. Thereafter a coach will depart for Colintraive and the short ferry crossing to Rhubodach, where the party will be met by a West Coach vehicle and taken to the Rothesay depot for a visit. There will be some free time in Rothesay before boarding an open top vehicle for a tour of Bute. Departure from Rothesay will be on the CalMac ferry at 1815, which arrives at Wemyss Bay at 1850. The connecting train service arrives at Glasgow Central at 1943.
Participants should make their own way to Dunoon in time for departure from the ferry terminal at 1230

Weekend Tour to Aberdeen & North East

Departure will be from Perth on Saturday and returning there on Sunday.

Afternoon Tour Departing from Falkirk Bus Station at 14:00 and travelling to Callander with a stop en route at Stirling for approximately thirty minutes.
The stop at Callander will be for around forty-five minutes and the tour will end in Falkirk around 17:45

Borders and North East England Tour Departing from Waterloo Place Edinburgh at 09:00 with proposed visits to the premises of Perrymans at Berwick upon Tweed, Travelsure at Seahouses, Longstaffs at Amble, Snaiths at Otterburn and Munros at Jedburgh. There will be a stop for approximately forty-five minutes at lunchtime in Alnick and short stops at Berwick upon Tweed and Jedburgh Town Centres. The tour will end in Edinburgh around 19:15.

Galloway Tour Departing from Cowcaddens Road on the north side of Buchanan Bus Station at 09:00. The first stop will be at Dumfries Town Centre for approximately forty-five minutes. The tour will then proceed to Castle Douglas where there will be a stop of approximately one hour at lunchtime. Visits are then proposed to Kings at Kirkinner and Kirkcowan, Stagecoach Western at Stranraer, Ulsterbus at Stranraer and McCulloch at Stoneykirk. There will also be a short stop at Stranraer Town Centre. The tour will end in Glasgow at around 19:15

Fife Tour Departing from Dunfermline Bus Station at 11:00.
Visits are proposed to the premises of Rennies, the premises of Moffat & Williamson at St Fort and Glenrothes and to all five depots of Stagecoach Fife. There will be a stop of approximately thirty minutes in Kirkcaldy Town Centre at lunchtime and the tour will finish around 18:00.

Hi Viz Vests

These will require to be worn at the visits on this tour. A further small supply of vests has been acquired by the Branch. Participants requiring these may purchase them on the tours for the sum of £4.00 each

Afternoon Tour - Perth Area It is hoped to use a preserved vehicle for this tour, which will depart from Leonard Street, Perth outside the Bus Station at 12:00. The intention is that the tour will follow various routes of McLennans of Spittalfield after which there will be a visit to the Inveralmond Depot of Stagecoach. The tour will finish around 16:00.

Evening Meeting - Talk by Allan T Condie Branch member Allan T Condie will present an illustrated talk on bus operations in the Perth area within the Kensington Room of the Queens Hotel, Leonard Street Perth commencing at 17:30. There will be a short break during the evening for tea/coffee and shortbread and the meeting will finish by 20:30.

Afternoon tour to West Lothian Departing from Waterloo Place Edinburgh at 1200.

Visits are proposed to the Livingston depot of First Edinburgh, the Longstone depot of Lothian Buses and the premises of Horsburgh at Pumpherston and Prentice at West Calder. The tour will finish around 1615.

Afternoon Tour - South and East Glasgow Departing from Cowcaddens Road on the north side of Buchanan Bus Station at 12.00

Visits are proposed to the premises of Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust at Bridgeton, the First Glasgow depots at Larkfield and Cumbernauld together with the Stagecoach Glasgow depot at Blochairn. There will also be a stop at Coatbridge Town Centre. The tour will finish around 16.15

Evening Meeting Branch Chairman Gavin Booth will give a talk entitled "Learning from the Past" which he originally presented to the North West and Yorkshire Branch

as the John Hugh Memorial Lecture. The meeting will be held at Partick Burgh Hall, 3-9a Burgh Hall Street Glasgow (close to Partick Transport Interchange) commencing at 18.00.
