Saturday 16th December 2000: An illustrated talk on Transport North of the Border by the well-known author, and Chairman of the Scottish Branch of the Society, Gavin Booth. 2.30 p.m. at Gosforth Library, Regent Centre, Newcastle-upon-Tyne

Saturday 20th January 2001 The Tyne-Tees-Mersey limited stop service by Phillip Battersby. 2.00 p.m. at Stockton Library. Whether you have read the book or not, come along and hear the expert.

Saturday 17th February 2001 A slideshow by Arthur Stratton on road and rail transport in Germany. The venue is the Brunswick Methodist Church, which is centrally situated in Brunswick Place, behind Fenwick's Store in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Why not arrive early for a chat at 1.30 for 2.00 p.m.; the meeting ends at 4.30 p.m.

Saturday 17th March 2001 AGM at 10.30 for 11.00 a.m. at the Gosforth Library, Regent Centre, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, followed, after lunch, by a depot visit at Percy Main and a Mystery Bus Trip.

Saturday 28th April 2001 Philip Kirk, the Commercial Director of the Oxford Bus Company (part of the Go-Ahead Group) is making a special visit to the North-East to give an illustrated talk on the history of Trimdon Motor Services. Philip has carried out in-depth research into this most complex and interesting company. 2.00 p.m. at Stockton Central Library.
