
The last four items are kept at both Coalbrookdale and Acton
The fact that the Society's collection is unique has been recognised by the British Library. Members of the public are able to use the facilites, but must pay a research fee; Omnibus Society members, of course, use the facilites free of charge.
Members planning research at Acton must make contact with the London Librarian at least 10 days before any planned visit, this is due to access being arranged with london transport museum. The Library is open from 09.30 to 4.45p.m.(16.45) on specified dates.
The library at Acton is currently open by appointment only, due to the Librarian having to work Monday to Friday at the moment. The assistant librarian will open up but we cannot commit to any dates more than 10 days in advance at the present.

Photocopying is available, a charge of 20p a copy is made by the london transport museum for this (the same as anybody using their own library). The staff at the london transport museum will not allow access to our Library unless an Omnibus Society official is on site. Access to the Omnibus Society Library does not allow you to visit any other part of the london transport museum Site. Directions of how to get there will be sent out with the acknowlegment of your visit.
