Should Boris Johnson remove articulated buses from London Streets?
The cyclists say 'yes' but they are great people movers as was seen at places such as London Bridge & Victoria during the recent tube/underground strike

I think that they are great for their intended purpose, which is shifting high volumes of passengers along wide straight roads, without the expense and disruption of laying tram tracks. Unfortunately London has very few of those roads, and the prospect of demolishing large parts of central London was missed after the end of the war. The alternative is to make many more roads bus-only, like Croydon has tram-only roads. Probably not a feasible option.

It's the old story, lay the infrastructure first.
