Timetable and description of events

Every year the Omnibus Society holds its most prestigious event, the summer Presidential Weekend, located in the area of the current President, who this year is Gavin Booth, Chairman of Bus Users UK, and also Chairman of the Society's Scottish Branch.

The Edinburgh PWE will take place Friday 12th - Monday 15th September 2008 and we will be visiting Lothian Buses, Alexander Dennis, the Falkirk Wheel,  Stagecoach Fife, NX Dundee, the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum (Lathalmond), First Edinburgh, Glasgow Vintage Bus Museum... and many more (as the adverts say).

There will be a reception at our hotel on the Friday evening, with three day-long study tours on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The Presidential Dinner, an optional but always enjoyable event on the Saturday evening, will hear speeches from distinguishd guests.
