Headquarters
It sounds rather grand, Headquarters - it is one of the terms we have acquired in our nearly eight decades of history. Effectively, Headquarters Branch is the London branch, and we continue to have a very strong programme of speakers each winter, located at the most important hub of the UK's transport networks and with quite a large, red, bus fleet just outside. Indeed we still hold most of our talks within the Headquarters building of TfL - the magnificent 1932 Art Deco building known simply as 55 Broadway, situated atop St James Park underground station.
